Sr Manager, Regional Distribution Strategy & Transformation

Our client is a leading international Insurance Group offering a diverse range of services across Life Insurance, Pension, Wealth Management and Asset Management. With increasing business activities and a solid growth strategy in place, the company is now seeking a high-calibre Strategy and Transformation professional to join the team in Hong Kong, covering the Asia region across all distribution channels in strategic transformation.

The key responsibilities for this position are as follows:

• Part of the Regional Distribution Strategy & Transformation function supporting the businesses on strategy formulation, strategic development and delivery, transformation initiatives across all distribution channels including traditional and digital channels.
• Drive, coordinate and execute strategic initiatives and programs related to growth strategies, sales strategies, products strategies, client segmentation analysis, digital, operational processes and technology enhancement initiatives.
• Manage a portfolio of initiatives, coordinate strategy implementation & delivery, project workstreams, prepare and consolidate project documentation and provide oversight on project risk and governance.
• Lead cross-locations or partner with local country teams on projects execution and delivery while ensuring adherence on execution and governance framework.
• Support advance technology innovation development and adoption of AI technology to deliver digital initiatives, driving productivity and engagement.
• Monitor projects and programs progress, alert of issues identified and facilitate mitigation solutions.
• Recommend strategic initiatives and articulate ideas into execution priorities and action plans.

Successful applicants will have the following skills and experience:

• A university degree.
• Around 6 - 8 years of experience in Distribution Strategy, Transformation, Management Consulting, Sales Force Management gained from Insurance, Banking, Wealth Management, Asset Management and / or Financial Services.
• Industry experience from Insurance, Retail Banking, Wealth Management in roles that work closely with front-line sales force and distribution teams would also be considered.
• Strategy / Management Consultancies focusing on Financial Services sector would be highly advantageous.
• Exposure to digital channels, digital tools, digital transformation.
• Experience in driving and executing large-scale transformation and change management programs with ability to run multiple projects simultaneously.
• Advanced skills in PowerPoint, Excel and other presentation tools.
• Excellent communication skills with fluency in English.
